My Testimony! My Strength!!
On the early morning of March 30th, 2023, a seemingly ordinary day took an extraordinary turn when I was jolted awake by an inexplicable headache. Little did I know that this moment would mark the beginning of a life-altering journey. A swift visit to the emergency room and subsequent CT scan and MRI revealed the shocking truth: I had suffered a stroke. With no apparent risk factors, the search for answers began, leading to the discovery of a patent foramen ovale (PFO), a heart defect that had remained hidden until that fateful day.
After three months filled with uncertainty and introspection, I was blessed to undergo a successful procedure to close the hole in my heart, allowing me to reclaim my health and my life. This experience was not just a personal battle; it was a revelation that underscored the fragility of life and the importance of preparedness. It inspired me to create the Ropheka Foundation, a beacon of hope dedicated to empowering individuals and communities.
